There were several accidents in Veszprém county on Sunday afternoon, a small rain hindering traffic in the county seat area.
Katalin Csizmadiáné Kucsera, a shift spokesperson for the Veszprém County Police Headquarters, told MTI: On Main Highway 8, a car hit a barrier in the Márkó area, four cars collided in Hajmáskér and several vehicles collided with Veszprém and Várokota.

A car also slipped in a ditch on Highway 77 in Tótvázsony, and two cars collided in the Balatonkenese area on Highway 710, one of which rolled over, the spokesperson said.
Tin rain in the Veszprém area makes traffic difficult, said Norbert Pécsi, head of the communications department at Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt. He added that Ajka and Veszprém Engineering vehicles are constantly working in the area.
