Once again, there is a significant jump in the number of officially confirmed infections: according to data from koronavirus.gov.hu, the new coronavirus infection (Covid-19) was detected in 6,197 new Hungarian citizens on Friday morning, increasing the number of infected people in Hungary to 271,200. Yesterday another 5,415 new cases were reported. The increase will certainly include specific test results. The number of active infections is 185,878.
After 171 deaths on Thursday, the authority again reported 171 deaths,
adding that the majority are elderly and chronically ill among the most recent victims.
The number of healers is currently 78,700.
19 percent of the actively infected, 21 percent of the dead and 23 percent of those recovered were in Budapest.
There are 7,841 coronavirus patients in need of hospital care, 610 of whom are on ventilators. The latter is significantly less than the 645 patients of yesterday, however, it is not known if their number has decreased because they have improved or because they have died.
The operating court currently ordered special breaks in 260 kindergartens for one group each (9%), 102 kindergartens (3%) and 76 elementary schools (3%) for the entire institution and 521 elementary schools for one or two classes (20%). ) and 50 elementary schools (2%) have an institution-wide digital curriculum.
