The new coronavirus infection (Covid-19) was detected in 4,836 new Hungarian citizens, increasing the number of infected people in Hungary to 136,723, according to the latest data on Saturday from the government information website. According to them, 107 chronic patients died, most of them elderly, so the death toll rose to 2,990 and 31,126 have already recovered. The number of active infections is 102,607.
The death toll surpassed one hundred on November 11. The record number of 107 deaths is that on November 7, the coronavirus claimed the lives of the same number of people in 24 hours in Hungary.
24 percent of the actively infected, 27 percent of the dead and 27 percent of those recovered are from Budapest. 7029 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 531 of them on ventilators.
