Last night, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced that the extraordinary legal order would be alive again from midnight on Wednesday. The government has also decided to ask Parliament to extend this time-limited emergency regime by 90 days.

Shortly before midnight, a government decree on the promulgation of a state of emergency, that is, an extraordinary legal order, and legislation containing austerity measures was published in the Hungarian Gazette.

In the latter, between midnight and 5 in the morning, everyone must be at their place of residence or stay, except those who work, go to work or return home from work. Also, just

It follows from the Magyar Közlöny: restaurants can be open until 11 am (according to previously adopted rules), only places that provide “music service as main service” cannot be opened, except those where you must have a seat redeemed to participate.

In the auditorium of cultural and sporting events, spectators can occupy only one in three seats, except for the loggias, two seats must be left empty between two spectators and the seats immediately one behind the other must not be occupied. A distance of one and a half meters should also be maintained in shelters and breaks.

The police will continue to monitor compliance with the rules and will be able to warn them, imposing fines of between HUF 100,000 and HUF 1 million, temporarily closing the room for at least one day and up to a year, and at least one door closed for sporting events.

The decree also stipulates that in Budapest and in cities with county status, public transport companies are obliged to prepare a flight compression plan for the periods between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. on weekdays and between 3 p.m. pm and 7 pm. The plan must be approved by the government office. Furthermore, as announced by the Prime Minister, parking will once again be free.

The provisions on the night curfew will take effect at 0 pm on Thursday, and the other rules will take effect on Wednesday.
