The new management of the University of Theater and Cinematographic Arts (SZFE) made two offers to the employees: starting in January they would receive a 15 percent salary increase and their working hours would remain unchanged.

The statement, signed by Deputy Director General Emil Novák and Chancellor Gábor Szarka and sent to the MTI, indicates that the SZFE strike committee filed two lawsuits against the employer on September 29: a 10 percent wage increase and maintenance of the working hours that govern the state. The university administration is offering a 15 percent salary increase to employees as of January 1, 2021, and the work schedule will remain unchanged.

Given that the projected increase in employee wages significantly exceeds the demands made by the SZFE strike committee and the request for a schedule was heard, SZFE management considers negotiations with the strike committee on the claims closed. above and request to continue working. If, however, the strike committee decides to continue the strike, the management of SZFE will consider the previous offer null and void.
