Due to the risk of thunderstorms, the National Weather Service issued secondary alarms in Western Transdanubia on Saturday afternoon. Strong thunderstorms with lightning, strong winds and hail are expected in the next few hours in the affected areas.

According to the warning sent to the MTI, the second degree danger sign is in effect in Győr-Moson-Sopron and Vas counties. In the counties of Budapest, Pest, Fejér, Heves, Komárom-Esztergom, Nógrád, Pest, Somogy, Tolna, Veszprém and Zala, a first instance warning is also in effect due to the risk of thunderstorms.

It was written that the Western Transdanubia region could be reached from the southwest by strong electrical storms, which could be accompanied by stormy wind gusts (70-100 km / h).

It was also highlighted that the average daily temperature is expected to reach 25 degrees in several places, mainly in the south and center of the country. Due to the heat, in the capital, the counties of Pest, Baranya, Bács-Kiskun, Békés, Csongrád-Csanád, Fejér, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Komárom-Esztergom, Somogy and Tolna, a first-level warning is in effect.

On Sunday the daily warming will intensify even more, the daily average temperature will be around 25 degrees in several places, and may exceed 27 degrees in the center and south of the country. At the same time, thunderstorms can occur in the west and northwest from Sunday afternoon in some places, which can be accompanied by stormy winds (60-80 kilometers / hour), it was reported.
