Miklós Kásler’s announcement on Saturday about the testing of the Russian coronavirus vaccine in Hungary came true very soon. In his recent Facebook video, Péter Szijjártó has just announced that
6,000 vials of Russian vaccine arrived in Hungary in a truck at the Tornosnémet border crossing.
According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the cooperation between Russia and Hungary on the coronavirus vaccine will continue on the basis of the previous agreement.
From the border crossing, the shipment will be taken to the National Public Health Center with a police escort, where, as has been said, “Hungarian professionals will have another opportunity to make a decision on how to use the vaccine.”
According to the minister, 40,000 people in Russia are already beyond clinical testing, resulting in an efficiency of 91.4 percent.
The head of the ministry added: Hungary is there for all successful vaccine developments in the world, will do everything possible to create an effective vaccine “either in the West or in the East”, it will be brought to Hungary faster according to the decision of the Hungarian experts.
