Police issued an arrest warrant for two men who participated in a kidnapping in the summer, said the Budapest Police Headquarters (BRFK).

According to the announcement, the kidnappers, four of whom were alleged perpetrators by Budapest investigators in July, abducted a man from his home and then beat him and demanded a twenty million ransom for his release.

Three of the alleged perpetrators of the crime were arrested by investigators in Budapest on July 9 and one of his colleagues turned himself in to the police a few days later.

Due to the case, an arrest warrant has been issued for Ákos Vujkov, 47, and Zoltán Róbert Bereczki, 40.

On the morning of July 6, the kidnappers turned up in a 44-year-old male XIV. in the garage of his district home, where he was beaten, then put in the back seat of a car and driven to a workshop.

The man was broken in the workshop so that he could not escape, and then more blows were inflicted on him with a baseball bat and an iron pipe, thus breaking his clavicle and cheekbones, causing many bruises on his body.

According to the suspicion, the kidnappers threatened to bury him if he did not get 20 million florins, and he would also take revenge on his family. In the end, they failed to get money from the man and the next day he was released at the Gyömrői út flyover.
