The Index learned from a certain source that Origo had divorced György Szalma, whom Momentum had previously denounced for wearing the forbidden symbol of the dictatorship.

Straw wore a swastika bracelet (in common parlance, a swastika) on a Pesti television show, which the opposition party claimed to be a Nazi symbol.
The journalist responded to the report on his Facebook page, denying that he would profess extreme ideas:
I think you’ve all seen that the press brought me in to sit on a Pest TV show wearing a swastika bracelet. The truth is that I received this bracelet two years ago in India, it is a souvenir of a trip about which I also wrote a series of articles. Anyone who knows knows that I am not a Nazi, the bracelet did not carry any political message from me. It was not my intention to provoke anyone. If I have offended someone, I apologize this time. For those who still have questions, I will be happy to answer them. Anyway, all responsibility rests with me alone!
The journalist who left Origo, by the way, actually visited India a few years ago, and he also wrote a series of articles about it for Mandiner. There is actually one of the oldest symbols, which means good luck. In Europe, however, it was used by the National Socialists responsible for the genocides, so it works very differently in this cultural circle.
