Index – National – Origo journalist on the swastika scandal: the bracelet in memory of India

[ad_1]

György Szalma, a journalist for Origo, denies wearing a swastika armband on Pesti TV’s Fighting Space.

Did Origo's journalist wear a pendant with a swastika on Pesti TV?

Momentum makes a report.

The journalist wrote about his case on his Facebook page:

I think everyone has already seen that the press brought me to sit on a Pest TV show with a swastika. The truth is that I received this bracelet two years ago in India, it is a souvenir of a trip about which I also wrote a series of articles. Anyone who knows knows that I am not a Nazi, the bracelet did not carry any political message from me. It was not my intention to provoke anyone. If I have offended someone, I apologize this time. For those who still have questions, I will be happy to answer them. Anyway, all responsibility rests with me alone!

As the index has previously written, Momentum files a complaint against a journalist for using a prohibited symbol of dictatorship. In their Facebook post, the party wrote that they are not surprised today that the ruling party’s deputy parties increasingly resemble representatives of National Socialist ideas.
