Container hospital in Kiskunhalas opened Thursday morning, 43 coronavirus patients have been transferred from Semmelweis Hospital in Kiskunhalas so far, writes portal hiros.hu.

Szabolcs by Spiš, the general director of Semmelweis Hospital, told the portal:

We opened the mobile epidemic hospital this morning, due to the fact that the number of patients needing hospital treatment increased with such dynamics that we could no longer provide adequate care under the current circumstances. To date, 43 patients have been transferred, a significant proportion of whom are positive for Covid. There are also those who need intensive care, but there are also those who are in better condition but have severe comorbidity. 18 patients had to be transferred using an inpatient ambulance service.

Tímea Szabó, co-chair of the Dialogue, reported Wednesday that they had not been able to open the hospital, which had been built by many billions, because there were not enough doctors and nurses to transfer.

On Thursday, the operations staff will decide on the transfer of doctors.

Last week, a coronavirus patient broke out due to the unworthy circumstances at Semmelweis Hospital in Kiskunhalas. He said everything has broken down to such an extent that they often cry with their fellow patients. He reported crumbling plaster, dead beetles and no hot water in the bathroom. He added that he would recover faster at home than in the hospital.
