Due to the danger of tin rain, the National Weather Service issued warnings to several counties and the capital on Wednesday. According to their danger signal, they issued a first-level warning to the counties of Budapest, Pest, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Győr-Moson-Sopron, Heves, Komárom-Esztergom and Nógrád, they wrote in a statement sent to the MTI.

At dawn on Wednesday, another rain system will hit the country from the northwest. Precipitation will be mostly rainy, but there may be temporary tin rain in the northern and northwestern border areas of Transdanubia and in the north central mountains.

In the northeast part of the country (Szabolcs, Borsod) snow is expected, several (2-4) centimeters can fall, but in some places fresh snow layers of up to 5 centimeters can form. In the afternoon, stormy wind gusts can occur in some places in northern Transdanubia. The highest daytime temperature is projected to be between 4 and 10 degrees on Wednesday.
