Air pollution has increased in several settlements. In two settlements, air quality is already dangerous due to high dust content in the air, the National Center for Public Health (NNK) told MTI on Sunday.

According to your map, the air quality in Putnok and Sajószentpeter is dangerous. In Miskolc and Kazincbarcika, the air was declared unhealthy.

Fourteen other settlements objected to the air quality. These are: Budapest, Vác, Tököl, Dorog, Esztergom, Tatabánya, Székesfehérvár, Várpalota, Győr, Szolnok, Szeged, Nyíregyháza, Oszlár, Hernádszurdok.

NNK said an improvement is expected during the day due to the rainy weather.

The health assessment of air pollution is based on an index. Based on the main health effects of air pollutants, NNK distinguishes four levels: blue (acceptable), green (objectionable), orange (unhealthy), red (dangerous).
