In the event that the Samsung factory is removed from the city and transformed into a special economic zone, the instant mayor of Göd is waiting for a legal remedy from the Constitutional Court.
The government practically took the Samsung factory from the city of Göd. As a reminder, on April 18 of this year a government decree was published in the Hungarian Gazette, according to which the government can now designate special economic zones, which will be transferred from the municipality to the county municipalities to mitigate the economic effects of the epidemic of coronavirus.

The government was the first to create a special economic zone in Göd, with which almost 20 percent of Göd’s territory was withdrawn from the city, writes Csaba Balogh, the current mayor of Göd, and András Fekete-Győr, president of Momentum , who will announce on Monday that they are appealing to the Constitutional Court.
