Hungary’s borders remain open to Czechs, Slovaks, and Poles after September 1. A negative coronavirus test within five days is sufficient to enter.
Czechs, Slovaks and Poles who have previously booked their accommodation here can still come to Hungary, while Hungarians who have previously booked accommodation in the Visegrad countries will still have enough negative results after returning home.
This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade on Monday night. According to Péter Szijjártó, several new Hungarian defense measures, which came into effect from midnight, were discussed in person in Bled and later by telephone.
