The court arrested the drug trafficker and his foreign partner arrested in Venice, the MTI reported, citing the Metropolitan Court.
From the second half of the year until their capture, the two men spread marijuana on a large scale in Budapest. One of them acquired more than 45 kilograms of marijuana to resell under unknown circumstances, which he kept in his Ferencváros apartment and his warehouse. The other man ordered six kilograms of marijuana to the suspect, who, after taking the drug, drove to Venice in Fejér county.
As reported by the Index, Police tried to register there, but the man fled the policeman who called him out of the vehicle and fled the scene and was only able to arrest him later.
The man trying to escape was also indicted in a separate proceeding for danger on the road and violence against an official. When the other foreign suspect was arrested, a significant amount of drugs and almost eight million guilders in cash were seized from his apartment.
According to the suspicion of the Prosecutor’s Office, the two men without a criminal record had committed the crime for a long time, in a formal manner, together with several of their colleagues, in an organized manner, presumably ensuring their livelihood at least in part. The two men were arrested by the Buda Central District Court for a month and are suspected of having committed a significant amount of drug trafficking.
The capital IX. A Serbian man who could be taken drugs by a trafficker arrested in Venice on Wednesday was arrested in his district. The two people were seized with marijuana worth about one hundred million florins.
