In recent years, there have been more and more reports of insect invasions, in which we can read reports of “attacks” of terribly nasty, hip corrosive bed bugs, and of stink beetles that haunt apartments and houses.
The insect season that affects the population dates back to the autumnal equinox, the last decade of September to early October, when insects assault the plains. However, from an agricultural point of view, it is already in full swing, so it has been a long time to find them in cultivated plants and fruits, said Gábor Vétek, associate professor in the department of entomology at Szent István University.
The presence of insects in homes is explained by the fact that among the invasive alien species introduced and settled in Hungary, there are several that move into homes to a greater or lesser extent as the colder period approaches and move in hidden corners or they move in search of it. The largest number of invasive crested insects (but also called migratory insects and Nezara viridula) are the brownish Asian marble insects and the green-green migratory insects of East Africa that come to us from southern Europe in Hungary. The western leaf-legged bug introduced from North America has also appeared, but is less common at the moment, so the current survey can help find out where it is in the country.
As insects defend themselves with secretions from their olfactory glands, this causes further conflict, as rthey also avenge their deaths with an irritating odor.
They were almost unknown in Hungary for a decade or two, but now they appear in more and more places. Today, it has become a daily concern to fight insects that enter or leave the apartment, the office, as they go through a small space to enter homes that provide them with a comfortable temperature.
However, it is only possible to defend yourself, partly by preventing them from entering the apartment, with the mosquito nets installed without holes. If this is not possible, ventilation next to the light on at night should be avoided, as the light attracts insects. That is, only the physical exclusion and the insecticide remain, for example

Gábor Vétek also told InfoRádió that the animals that had already entered would not necessarily be on his mind after they had withdrawn from nature in search of a sheltered place, so they would hide behind the bed or closet inside the apartment , in any corner, corner, preparing to spend the winter, they are taken out until the following spring without feeding or reproducing. Therefore, they can be difficult to find and it may happen that in December, when we are already in full swing, they suddenly appear at home, causing great surprise.
