The interface of the portal is eerily similar to the look of the old Facebook that many cried, but the founders say it is not a copy, it is just a user-friendly design. What the Founders Say combines the best features of the previous social sites. Dark mode is also available here, you can freely create pages and post, only in the absence of people, the dog does not care who thinks in the world, no one but administrators will read it. According to Ákos Hadházy, Hundub could be the lobby for the closure of Facebook in Hungary.
The advantage of Hundub is that it has no advertising, you can browse confused. However, there is no content and it is only available on Android outside of your computer. What makes sense to compete with Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook is justified by the founders through excessive censorship.
Hundub (HD) offers an alternative to large American technicians. Csaba Pál, the founder of HD, told the Hungarian Nation that
you have to have a choice, an alternative.
Pál told the newspaper that the real impetus behind its launch was the fact that in 2019, without thousands of reasons, many thousands of Hungarian users were removed from Facebook. In most cases, no one was asked for an accident, but not even an apology. According to Csaba Pál, in relation to almost anything, be it political or even epidemic, users can be penalized by removing or banning just because someone somewhere far away doesn’t like it. Paul said Hundub does not apply political censorship.
On the wing of Iwiw and myVIP
The Hundub CEO emphasized that Iwiw served as a guide in the design of the portal, out of habit and ease of use. Although Iwiw had no international expansion that year, it was only available in the Hungarian language areas, so when everyone started uploading their grandmother to Facebook, Iwiw ceased to exist in 2014 due to lack of interest, while myVIP is still available. To this day, users simply forget to log in there.
Hundub will be available only in Hungarian. Therefore, anyone curious about the international star launch cannot remove themselves from Facebook either. Perhaps that is why it is difficult to compete with Twitter and Facebook, because with many disadvantages, internationalism is what the two giants are unbeatable at. On the other hand, in the absence of users, we cannot collect too many likes for a successful gastropoto.
For the vote launched in HD on whether the Hungarian Facebook is a good thing, it is enough that nobody reacts.
What does Hundub know?
The exterior and functions are similar to Facebook until you speak. We can create our own personal profile, chat with friends (if any) on Messenger, and upload photos and videos. Groups, events, and even a fundraiser are available to start a case. For example, someone asks for donations for a chocolate bar, but up to 1 million guilders can be raised for the “Charge for Beer, Not for Family Home” initiative.
HD is only available on PC and Android.
The big disadvantage is that it cannot be linked to another mobile application, where in most cases the record is linked to a Facebook profile. Thus, Facebook is not just a social portal, but a series of almost indispensable applications. Also, you can sign up with any nickname, so you can only identify who you want to meet by an image.
The government would have an increasing urgency to regulate the domain of Facebook, says the politician.
As an innovation, articles can also be produced,
They appear in a separate box on the page. Unlike traditional posts, articles appear in a form similar to Blog.hu, and you can evoke thoughts about anything. Only two comments have been received for the most popular reading so far. So it would be an exaggeration to say that the Internet has exploded from Hundub.
Like the introduction of any new brand, this is accompanied by a giveaway. You can collect points by taking measurements. A Like is worth 1 point, a comment is worth 2 points and a post is worth 3 points. By nominating Viktor Orbán, who has yet to confirm it, and announcing that this Hungarian Facebook is super, I have already scored 4 points. More than 100,000 points you can win a trip around the world. However, you can only accumulate a thousand points per day, so you have to be persistent for the big prize.
Due to data protection regulations, the abuse detection tool has been disabled.
Hundub also has a dating feature that can be activated in personal settings by optionally specifying sexual orientation. Based on this, HD recommends users that match your personal profile.
Hundub was created without censorship. Of course, Hungarian legislation must also be complied with on this platform, so
neither the sickle nor the swastika fit.
Also, you can post about anything that is within free speech. As per community policy, aggressive content will also be prohibited here, but nude photos will not be allowed if shared for artistic purposes.
Small and green, but at least ours
How a small Hungarian community site can compete with the big American giants depends on developments. The attempts by Russia and China were kept up by banning Facebook and Twitter. Hundub is trying to do something big with virtual reality, but there are plans for HD to enter online education and theatrical performances will also be streamed on the platform.
Ákos Hadházy, an independent representative, could not leave this without a word, said that it is not simply a social site that competes on Facebook.
Behind the thing may be Orbán’s dirty money. The company registration reveals that one of the owners of Hundub Kft, launching a deep Hungarian site, is a Murmurati company hidden in an offshore paradise in Belize, Central America, so we don’t need to know who is behind the whole party.
Hadházy adds that the Orban can prepare for the Facebook shutdown on Putin:
And now here is the supplement for Hungarians, for sure. When they get bogged down, Ms Varga will swiftly introduce a bill against “Internet censorship”
– wrote Ákos Hadházy on his community page.
Instagram and Snapchat have been around for two thousand years. So what is a good social media service? Well, MySpace!
