On Monday, Cecília Müller, medical director, and Miklós Kásler, Minister of Health, issued a new procedure to deal with the epidemic, reported the National Center for Public Health. Accordingly, a PCR test should only be required if the patient has symptoms and, in addition, has been in a coronavirus-infected area or has been in close contact with a confirmed infected person.

Depending on the procedure, the infection can be confirmed by a GP without a PCR test, based on the symptoms shown,

however, the records of patients diagnosed differently are different.

One way or another, the case must be reported to the center, but as long as the infections infected by PCR show the result of the disease (cured or dead) or the moment of discharge from the hospital, if someone has been diagnosed only by symptoms, it previous to be reported.

Likewise, in the case of those diagnosed by symptoms, that is, in the case of probable infections, the GP instructs the patient to isolate himself at home. This is because official action is only possible in the case of infected people who have undergone the test.
