According to the Media Council, the radio has repeatedly violated the provisions of the Media Law during its seven years of operation, which constitutes a reason for exclusion.

There is no information on what provisions were violated by the tax, but the Club Radio took note of the decisions on repeated violations, did not initiate legal recourse in court and paid the amount of the fines.

The radio will stop broadcasting on February 14, 2021.

According to the panel, there should be a continuous community radio on the 92.9 MHz frequency in Budapest, so the council has started to use the frequency. Despite repeated violations of the law, the Club Radio service provider can also request the frequency.

The Media Council approved the draft tender for the district radio frequency of 96.4 MHz in Győr for community use and agreed that Karc FM Média Kft.
