Former Fidesz politician Tivadar Fohsz, suspected of illegal pornography, spoke. A XVII. her daughter, who was raised by a former district deputy mayor, reported after she allegedly found images on her adoptive father’s laptop in May 2018, taken in 2012 with hidden cameras in their home. A search of the house was carried out in Tivadar Fohsz and, indeed, cameras were found in the girl’s room. Suspicion of public violence expired in 2018, but police still suspect possession of a prohibited pornographic recording.
The deputy mayor now gave an interview to Blikk in which he says:
Tivadar Fohsz conducted the interview because, as he said, he is now forced to present his position to the public. He said that his adoptive daughter mentioned three different cases in her confession when her adoptive father abused her. However, according to Tivadar Fohsz, there were no occasions when there were two: either they were in groups of three with the girl’s mother, or the girl was with the man’s daughter.
Before the complaint, my wife filed financial claims against me. The strange thing about this is that two days after the 10-year statute of limitations, my adopted daughter filed a complaint.

Commenting that this is good for him because he cannot be held responsible, he said:
It’s not good because until this procedure is over and I don’t strike out with some kind of privacy demand, it stays with me. My divorced wife knows exactly this, as she is a great lawyer. This is an eternal seal that I would have loved to cleanse myself of.
The article also talks about why cameras were found in the house. The former deputy mayor said he bought the house in 2008, the garden of which was still an open and completely free area at the time. They advised him to get cameras, and he did, and his family knew it. The fact that his adopted daughter was photographed naked was known only to the police.
The latest security camera recordings have always been overwritten with the most recent shot after a few days. Until then, anyone inside the house could see this because the system had external access. […] He was in authority where we could see the recordings he sent. And we actually saw pictures of him where he’s naked in the apartment or outside the house. […] The investigating authority showed the recordings
– said Tivadar Fohsz, who has not spoken with his adopted daughter since 2016. When asked if he had made a mistake, he replied:
There are no perfect people, we all make mistakes throughout our lives. Surely if one had the knowledge that he had years later, he would have done things differently in the previous period. I think no more than any average person. But I have nothing to regret the alleged facts because I did not commit them.
After the scandal was reported in the press, Fidesz also reacted as they wrote: the party condemns all forms of crimes committed against children or their use, so all relevant legal regulations are being reviewed. As indicated in his statement, it is up to the authorities to investigate the case of the former deputy mayor and, if necessary, take the appropriate measures after the verdict.
By the way, Tivadar Fohsz is still a member of Fidesz, but he resigned from all other positions.
The presumption of innocence belongs to everyone and my colleagues are sure of it. I don’t think I have done anything, and that will also gain certainty.
