Minister Miklós Kásler prohibited the holding of professional events in the health, social and public education sectors in person. The head of the ministry decided on the measure in order to prevent further spread of the coronavirus epidemic, the Ministry of Human Resources (EMMI) informed the MTI on Wednesday.
In addition to events directly related to the performance of public duty, professional meetings can only be held online. The internal regulations attached to the ministerial instruction to the heads of the institutions describe in detail the rules to be followed by the organizers and participants of events that cannot be held online.
At the same time, conferences are needed to carry out the public task must be previously notified to the competent public health authority of the place of the event, which, knowing the place and the circumstances, determines the maximum number of people present at the event at the same time. Authorities carry out random inspections at the event locations.
The procedure attached to the Ministerial Instruction draws attention the main and most important preventive measure, such as the participation of only healthy, asymptomatic people who feel healthy in the event.
Compliance with personal hygiene is extremely important and direct body contact and traditional forms of greeting should be avoided. It is recommended to place a non-contact antiviral hand sanitizer dispenser, clean it periodically, and disinfect surfaces with an antiviral agent.
Since an asymptomatic person can be a carrier of the virus, participants are asked to keep a distance of one and a half meters from each other. They also point out that the World Health Organization (WHO) recommends wearing a mask in all places where there are difficulties in complying with the distance rules. In an enclosed space, to reduce the concentration of pathogens, special attention should also be paid to continuous or regular and intensified natural ventilation.
