The Metropolitan Court ordered the criminal surveillance of Richárd M., who was not legally sentenced to 4 years in prison in the first instance in the case of the accident that claimed two fatalities in Doczsa György út, writes MTI. You can only leave the administrative border of Budapest and Pest County with a permit. In addition, you must report to the designated police station twice a week after the appeals court has established a risk of recidivism in the offender’s case. The decision is final.
In a statement posted on its website, the court wrote:
The Metropolitan General Court of Second Instance in the case of second instance revoked the order of first instance of the Central District Court of Plagas (PKKB) and ordered the criminal defendant of the criminal case of the accident of Dzsa György út until the sentence was pronounced Final Court of Second Instance.
In 2017, M. Richárd collided with a high-performance passenger car with western registration at Doczsa György út in Budapest at a speed of approximately 140 kilometers with an irregularly turning car, two of whose passengers were killed, its driver suffered fatal injuries, and M. Richard and several bystanders were more easily injured. The other driver was also charged in the case.
According to another indictment, there was a traffic incident between Richard Richard and a cyclist in 2015, for which the prosecution charged Mr. Richard with harassment, minor bodily injury and danger on the road.
Richard M. admitted to harassment and minor bodily harm, and in part admitted responsibility for the fatal car accident.

We also recently reported in the Index that during a police raid on December 2, Richard M. and six other people were found in an illegally opened gym, who were reported to have violated security measures.
Mr. Richard had been in trouble with the authorities previously because he had been driving despite being banned from driving forever by the court in the first instance. The Central Investigation Prosecutor’s Office has also prosecuted him for repeatedly trying to recover his license through bribery.
The MTI summary recalls that in 2006 M. Richard was sentenced to eight years in prison in the so-called Kecskemét mafia trial for being a “soldier” of a criminal organization led by a first-degree defendant, László Radnai.
The criminal organization was involved in drug trafficking, the taking of defense money and prostitution, and when some of its members were arrested in 2004, they were about to settle scores with a rival gang.
