The number of people living with coronavirus in Hungary has risen by 495 in the past 24 hours, according to data from the government information website on Sunday.

The disease has no more deaths, the number of deaths remains unchanged at 624 and 3,958 have already recovered. Of the 3805 actively infected, 43 percent are from Budapest. 59 percent of the dead and 42 percent of those recovered are in the capital. 151 patients with coronavirus are treated in the hospital, 11 of them with ventilators.

Last week, daily infection logs fell in rapid succession, culminating on Friday, when 510 new infections were recorded in 24 hours.

“To curb social spread, we will continue to avoid places where there are many people inside, we will keep our distance as much as possible, we will wash our hands frequently and thoroughly, and we will wear the mask in stores and on public transport. Anyone who has been ordered to have an official home quarantine for a stay abroad or for any other reason must strictly comply. Anyone with symptoms should not go into the community, but rather stay home and notify their GP by phone. If we adhere to all of this, we can prevent the spread of infection and the introduction of new measures that restrict our daily lives. “

Communication warns.
