The new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was detected in 809 new Hungarian citizens, thus increasing the number of infected people in Hungary to 16,920. Six chronic patients died, bringing the death toll to 675 and 4,382 have already recovered. The number of actively infected people is 11,863. 41 percent of the actively infected, 58 percent of the dead and 40 percent of those recovered are from Budapest.
