The new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was detected in 5,415 new Hungarian citizens, thus increasing the number of infected people identified in Hungary to 265,003. Most of the deaths were 171 elderly and chronic patients, so the number of deaths increased to 6,451 – according to data published by the government information portal on Thursday morning.
The number of recovered people is also constantly growing, currently 77,362 people and the number of actively infected people is 181,190. 7,869 coronavirus patients are treated at the hospital, 645 of whom are on respirators.
