The new coronavirus infection (Covid-19) was detected in 4,320 new Hungarian citizens, increasing the number of infected people identified in Hungary to 174,618, according to data published by the government information portal on Sunday morning. According to them, 111 chronic patients, mostly elderly, died in 24 hours, bringing the number of deaths to 3,800 and 42,915 had already recovered. The number of active infections is 127,903. 22 percent of the actively infected, 25 percent of the dead and 26 percent of those recovered are from Budapest. 7,278 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 618 of whom are on ventilators.
Most of the deaths were caused by the coronavirus in Hungary on Friday, November 20. That day, 121 patients died from the infection.
