Gergely Karácsony criticized the bias of government subsidies in a Facebook post. He claims that there is money in the Kisfaludy program to support tourism, but does not give it to those who really need it.

According to the explanation of the Tourism Agency, the capital did not receive the subsidy because tourism was expected to recover faster in Budapest. According to the mayor, they were wrong in this, since it is the locals who keep the soul in rural tourism.

As he said: even though the General Assembly of the capital decided to accept the Budapest tourism support program, this important sector cannot recover without the help of the government. According to him, “the usual circle” did well again with this program: the friends and business associates of the Prime Minister, “and the undeservedly neglected Felcsút.” He said:

The government has again gotten into trouble with the lucky ones, bypassing the road for those who really need help. (…) If the state continues its petty revenge against Budapest, the consequences will be unpredictable.
