On Monday, the Metropolitan Assembly decided that, in addition to taxis, public transport, shops, shopping centers and markets, the nose and mouth should be mandatory in cinemas and theaters, concerts and circus performances, as well as in the closed spaces of similar institutions and condominium assemblies. wear a mask.

If someone at these institutions and locations does not wear a mask properly or at all, they may be subject to an on-site fine of up to HUF 8,000 or an administrative fine of up to HUF 15,000.

A fine can be imposed on the spot if the person in question does not comply with the rules for wearing the mask. The regulation provides for the consumption of food and beverages in these places as an exception, and the obligation to wear a mask does not apply to artists. The City Council of the capital has previously drawn attention to the fact that the improper use of masks, that is, leaving the nose free, is also a violation of the regulations. If the number of new infections decreases permanently, the obligation to wear a mask is suspended.

According to yesterday’s data, there are 15,170 infected people identified in Hungary. According to the information published yesterday on koronavirus.gov.hu, eight chronic patients died, so the number of deaths increased to 663, and 4227 have already recovered.
