The two young men were arrested in the 10th district of Budapest in December 2019. According to the investigation, Adam P., 28, and his girlfriend, 25, B. Anett, are in an XI. Counterfeit banknotes of 50, 100 and 200 euros were made in an apartment in the district, as well as 10,000 florins, which were also put into circulation.

They were paid with money printed at home several times between their capture on December 15, 201 and December 17, 2019. They could not “enjoy” the “result” of their work for long, because suspects were found at a gas station. counterfeit euros delivered by Adam P. and a complaint was filed at the District X Police Station.

After a brief investigation, the police arrested the young man and his girlfriend in their apartment on December 17, 2019, where a search was also carried out. In the building, investigators found hundreds of counterfeit bills – six thousand euros and 60 thousand guilders -, counterfeit printers, cartridges, laptops, paper cutters and even a metal tool to measure right angles. The expert determined that the seized banknotes were false.

Proceedings were started against Ádám P. and B. Anett on suspicion of forgery. The court ordered the arrest of those allegedly responsible and subsequently placed them under criminal supervision. Once the investigation was completed, the BRFK X. District Police Headquarters delivered the documents to the competent prosecutor’s office.
