There will be a change of leadership in the Information Office (MA), according to the Commission’s agenda posted on Parliament’s website on Friday. According to this, at the closed-door meeting of the National Assembly Committee on National Security on Tuesday morning, the first item on the agenda will be the hearing of Zsolt Bunford, Brigadier General, candidate for Director General.
According to the master’s website, Zsolt Bunford currently holds the position of assistant general manager for analysis in the master’s degree.
József Czukor has been the Director General of the MA since 1 October 2018. József Czukor has previously worked in the Information Office, between 1993 and 1997 he was the head of the department, and between 2002 and 2004 he was also the general director.
The Information Office is the Hungarian civil intelligence service, one of the five Hungarian national security services.
The MA is the second secret service headed by a new leaderare named. On September 15, the news was known that Viktor Orbán would take effect immediately drove Zoltán Kiss, head of the Office for the Protection of the Constitution.
