The new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was detected in 1,423 new Hungarian citizens, thus increasing the number of infected people in Hungary to 50,180. Most of the 48 deaths were chronically elderly patients, so the number of deaths increased to 1,259 and 14,905 have already been recovered. The number of active infected people is 34,016. 30 percent of the actively infected, 39 percent of the dead and 30 percent of those recovered are from Budapest. 2,023 coronavirus patients are being hospitalized, 201 of whom are hooked up to a ventilator, according to data published Wednesday on the government information website.
As is known, yesterday 989 new coronavirus infections were identified, according to official information, however, Cecília Müller indicated at a press conference in the operative strain that due to a computer error, this figure is lower than the real data on Tuesday, therefore The missing figure was added to today. The number of deaths then set a black record with 38 people.
