The road renovation of the M3 motorway will begin on Monday in several sections, totaling more than ten kilometers, with a budget source of almost 1.5 billion guilders. The works are expected to last until the end of November, Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt said.
According to the company, the work area will be delivered to contractors on an intermittent and scheduled basis in the next period. Restrictions in the area of Aszód the outer lane, between kilometers 85 and 90, in the vicinity of Ludas in two sections the outer and inner lanes, and on the side leading to Nyíregyháza between kilometers 121 and 126, in Mezőkövesd both traffic lane is affected. Whenever possible, professionals will work with lane guidance.
During the renovation, it will not be possible to drive to the capital at junction number 90 Nagyfüged – Ludas, scheduled for October 17-22. The other three downhill and uphill branches of the node will not be affected by the rebuild.
