Momentum will establish an alliance with the group formed by Bernadett Szél, Ákos Hadházy and Szabolcs Szabó as the Association for Honesty and Courage for Hungary, announced András Fekete-Győr, president of Momentum, in a joint press conference with three parliamentarians independent.

András Fekete-Győr criticized the government’s readiness for the second wave, according to him, there is a government of chaos, so it is necessary to establish closer cooperation.

We not only build alliances, we also make alliances

Said the party president.

He praised the work of Bernadett Szél, Ákos Hadházy and Szabolcs Szabó, who, according to him, put more on the table than the 133 brave Fidesz – KDNP, or even the opposition parties.

András Fekete-Győr said about their strategic alliance,

His goal is for the three independent MPs to be the Momentum’s parliamentary ears, eyes and mouth by 2022, and they will work together to “replace the Orbán regime.”

It is not yet a question of what role and specific responsibilities the three deputies will have in the change of government, they have yet to agree on this.

When asked about the Index, András Fekete-Győr said that they have now programmed their alliance because

the forces must have a common denominator. “

Bernadett Szél and Ákos Hadházy co-chaired the LMP until April 2018, Hadházy first left for a few months, then the former candidate for prime minister of the party left in October and Szabolcs Szabó left the parliamentary faction with him.

From the “triple tooth”, Bernadett Szél first began to approach the Momentum. He previously spoke at the party’s CEU rally and then took an active part in the Momentum European Parliament campaign.

Although it has been raised several times whether he will join the party, both the Independent Representative and the Momentum have always communicated that this is not the case at the moment.

Ákos Hadházy has also been in close contact with the party for some time, marching together against the MTVA headquarters during the demonstrations against the slavery law in December 2018, but also helping the independent representative pick up his petition to join the Prosecutor’s Office. European. By the way, Hadházy’s relationship with most opposition parties has been rather cold since he mentioned cases of suspected corruption in relation to the opposition candidate after the provisional parliamentary elections in Borsod. The opposition parties later honored this by choosing to march against the SZFE instead of the October 23 rally against public media organized by the Hadházys.

The three unregistered members announced in early November that they would form a factionless group called the Alliance for Honesty and Courage for Hungary. While this does not grant additional rights to unregistered MPs, who can only present a bill to the House on their own with the consent of a political group leader, it symbolizes their close political cooperation.

Szabolcs Szabó: There are already enough opposition parties, perhaps too many

According to Szabolcs Szabó, who formed a political group with Bernadet Szél and Ákos Hadházy, politicians will judge politicians for their work.
