Recently, Fidesz even took what they had from independent non-parliamentary members: it deprived us of the right to initiate laws unconstitutionally. Without the intervention of the group’s leaders, none of our proposals will be discussed in Parliament until the spring. Although it will not give us back our abstract rights, by forming a group of representatives we are sending a message to the government: we are not afraid, we will not back down and we will fight even more resolutely for a livable, just and united Hungary.
According to Bernadett Wind, the purpose of their alliance is to restore people’s faith in a policy intended to represent the public good, not unfairly serve the private interest. How do you say it,
With our alliance, we want to encourage everyone to be active, organized and, most importantly, not to remain silent because we will all need a change.
