The graduation week begins on Monday, May 4, as confirmed by Zoltán Maruzsa, Secretary of State for Public Education of the Ministry of Human Resources, on Wednesday. The secretary of state later said that they would not measure fever in schools (because, as he said, two Cataflams could lower the temperature to 37 degrees) and all students and teachers would receive a mask for graduation, all institutions would have disinfectants and the exam sheets would rest for at least a day

MTI has compiled a list of the high schools they have been looking for, how they are preparing for their graduations. Below are some of them.

Madách Imre High School in Budapest sent a personalized “invitation” to the exam, in which the classroom hours were written. Before entering, everyone must disinfect their hands, give the students a mask, and measure their body temperature: anyone above 37.5 degrees Celsius is sent home. When writing the dissertation, wearing a mask is mandatory, and according to exam regulations, there is no common use of equipment.

Almost two hundred students graduate from the Mihály Táncsics grammar school in Orosháza, as the institution functions as an advanced examination center. Students can enter the building through four doors, informed in advance in which room and at which table they will be seated. The district tank center provides them with protective and disinfectant equipment. Students are also admitted to the Lajos Kossuth Vocational High School of the Gyula Vocational Training Center through various entrances and informed in advance in which room they will be examined and given a disinfectant at the door.

At the Lajos Kossuth Gymnasium at the University of Debrecen and the János Balásházy Secondary Practice School, graduates are admitted in groups, with eight or nine exams in the hallways at the same time. No one here asked that his graduation be postponed. Here they also give everyone a mask.

At the Debrecen Vocational Training Center, 1,209 people graduate from general and vocational education separately at 11 institutions, and only 26 students have applied for a postponement. Here, too, students are admitted to various entrances, receiving masks, such as those sewn by the vocational school student.

Only four of Péter Páva’s more than 600 graduate students, the seven high schools belonging to the Pécs Tank District Center, requested a postponement. Anyone requesting a postponement anyway doesn’t have to wait another year for the next date.

At the Székesfehérvár Vocational Training Center, 1207 students graduate, eighteen of them have applied for a postponement. 1341 students have applied for the professional exam, but, for example, the organization of the aesthetic exam is still uncertain, the truck driver exam will certainly not be organized.

Klára Baloghné Szücs is the professional deputy director of the Székesfehérvár Tank District and Szabolcs Török is the director of the tank district in the sewing workshop of the Árpád Vocational School and College of Székesfehérvár on April 30, 2020. In the workshop, they made mouth masks for the tank area.

800 students graduate from the Szolnok Vocational Training Center. All students and teachers receive a mask and gloves, hand sanitizers are placed on the benches, and written documents are sealed for twenty-four hours.

At György Bessenyei Grammar School in Kisvárda, it is not mandatory to wear a mask and gloves during the exam, they get a mouth mask at Lajos Tolnai Grammar School in Gyönk, but it can be removed by writing a dissertation. At the Lóczy grammar school in Balatonfüred, it is not necessary to wear a mask when writing a dissertation, and for the first time in the history of the school, it is not compulsory to graduate in a sailor blouse. It has already been revealed that wearing a mask will not be mandatory when writing a dissertation.

The graduation here will not be the same as before. Graduation took place virtually, but online preparation was not as smooth in all areas of the country, nor did many students achieve the curriculum digitally.
