Viktor Orbán also said that Hungary will exercise its right to bring the regulation on the rule of law mechanism to the Court of Justice of the European Union to determine whether it is compatible with EU law.

He said it had not yet been decided whether the action would be filed separately or jointly by the two countries. “We are entitled to it, so we will,” Morawiecki added.
