In one of the UK’s Tesco stores, following the scandal caused by a sign that only warns thieves in Romanian, there is now another similar case that is ruining the spirits of Romanians.

Authorities at one of London’s airports, Luton Airport, have released a bilingual poster warning passengers traveling to Romania that arrivals from the UK can only enter Romania with a negative corona virus test that does not have more than 48 hours. write the foter.ro.

The poster, on the other hand, is not bilingual in English and Romanian, but in Romanian and Romani.

For many Romanians, this has exceeded the guarantee because it is considered scandalous to put the Romanian and Gypsy languages side by side.

The Romanian Foreign Ministry also intervened and, through the Romanian Embassy in London, asked the airport management why the poster had been published in both Romanian and Romanian.

The decision to display the Roma language was made because after the Romanian provision came into effect on January 4, they faced many Roma passengers not being able to board the aircraft because they did not have a negative PCR or antigen test.

The lack of evidence is explained by a lack of understanding of the information signs posted at the airport.

Therefore, the airport leaders contacted representatives of the Roma community in the UK, as a result of which the Roma community organized the translation of the inscription into Roma.

Airport officials, however, said the poster would be withdrawn soon as it was deemed to have achieved its purpose, which is to inform passengers.
