Donald Trump does not want to participate in the second debate of the US presidential candidate. The president has announced that he will not enter a debate with Democratic candidate Joe Biden if he organizes online in light of the president’s positive coronavirus diagnosis, CNN reported.
The fate of the debate has been in doubt since the president’s positive coronavirus test last week, and Trump made it clear to Fox Business that
“I DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN AN ONLINE DISCUSSION”, DO NOT “WASTE” YOUR TIME IN A VIRTUAL DISCUSSION.
CNN reported Monday that a committee organizing presidential debates is considering hosting them virtually.
THE BIDEN CAMPAIGN BOARD IMMEDIATELY ACCEPTED THE POSSIBILITY OF ONLINE DISCUSSION.
The committee that organizes the presidential debates will hold an online debate on the president’s coronavirus infection, which is scheduled for October 15. The discussion would be moderated by Steve Scully, editor of C-SPAN, former president of the White House Correspondents Association, and participants would ask questions from Miami.
