Matovič: Thank you Hungarians, thank you Viktor!

The Slovak prime minister said that he is in trouble for meeting a good friend and therefore is grateful to the Hungarians. In North Komárom, Lina and Éva helped.

As the Index wrote, everyone praised participants, operators and participants in the queue of the operation, with minor logistical disruptions and recessions. Unsurprisingly, the onslaught was huge on Saturday, especially in the morning, and the load became much more even on Sunday, and in some places, like the Bratislava drive-in, there were few.

The defense minister said in an interview Sunday night that testing will continue next weekend as planned, after which only those with negative ratings will be allowed to take to the streets. The proportion of residents who tested positive was surprisingly low, around 1-2 percent in most places.

By 1pm, Semmelweis University students had also returned from Slovakia and volunteered to help with the screening – read the Student Council Facebook page.

The Slovak Prime Minister personally thanked the Hungarian volunteers for their help yesterday in North Komárom. As he said, “We get to know who our real friend in trouble is, and that’s a big thank you.”
