Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, complained of side effects following a coronavirus vaccine in a televised interview on Sunday, the Interfax news agency reported.

Putin received the first dose of the vaccine on Tuesday, but declined to say which of the three he used in Russia. He previously claimed that all three are equally effective, but the world-famous Sputnik V type, with which they are already vaccinated in Hungary.

The morning after the vaccination, I woke up with muscle aches. I also measured my fever, but I didn’t even have a fever, “Vladimir Putin told RTV, adding that there was less pain in the arm that was given the vaccine.

In Russia, the vaccination campaign started in December. To date, 4.5 million people have been identified with coronavirus infection and 4.3 million people have already received the second dose of the vaccine.

Vladimir Putin said he believes it is realistic to achieve the flock’s immunity by the end of the summer, when relaxation can begin in the country.
