Banning bans, business closures and traffic restrictions could re-enter Montenegro if the epidemiological situation continues to deteriorate, as the number of people living with coronavirus in the Adriatic country has increased significantly in recent weeks. And the authorities want to prevent the epidemic from growing further, Montenegrin public service television said on Saturday.

In the Western Balkans, the number of confirmed infections increased by 736 from Friday to Saturday and the number of deaths increased by 18. The number of infections recorded on Saturday ranged from 92 to 32,228 in Serbia, from 50 to 14,496 in Kosovo, from 142 to 15,556 in North Macedonia, from 289 to 22,880 in Bosnia and Herzegovina and from 163 in Montenegro. It has grown to 6385.

The death toll rose from one to 730 in Serbia, from five to 642 in North Macedonia, from six to 683 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, from five to 586 in Kosovo, and from one to 115 in Montenegro.
