According to the director of the Montreal-based trade organization, which groups 200 airlines, these tests, which show antibodies, will be available from October, with products for less than $ 10.

This is already being negotiated with governments, because the organization believes that this method could trigger a mandatory quarantine and remove border closures, Alexandre de Juniac said. According to their surveys, 84 percent of passengers agree that all passengers should be tested, and 88 percent said they would be willing to submit.
In this context, the President and CEO of IATA has once again called on the EU Member States to support the proposal of the President of the Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, to introduce a common European testing procedure and to abolish the institution of mandatory quarantine for travel.
