Starting Tuesday, only those coming from a dangerous area for the coronavirus epidemic will be able to enter with a negative PCR test. As all the countries on this map at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague on Wednesday fell into this category, the restriction now covers the entire world.

The measure, according to the MTI, is in force for states outside the European Union from December 15, but will apply to all countries as of December 29, regardless of the means of transport used by passengers.

On Sunday, the Netherlands were the first to prevent a UK passenger jet from entering its territory because a new strain of the coronavirus, 70 percent more contagious than previous variants, emerged in south-east England.

On December 14, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte announced new epidemiological measures that have not been rigorous since the outbreak began in the country and will remain in effect until January 19.
