How we reportFerencváros was 3-0 away from Barcelona on Wednesday night at the Puskás Arena. In the other group match, Juventus beat Dynamo Kiev in Turin by the same amount. The Spanish and Italian star teams will surely advance, but Fradi and the Ukrainian team will compete for third place in the Europa League in Kiev next week.

This is what the group currently looks like:

  • 1. Barcelona 15 points (already advanced)
  • 2. Juventus 12 (already advanced)
  • 3. Dynamo Kyiv 1 (3-13)
  • 4. FERENC CITY 1 (5-16)

Before the match in Kiev, both teams have the same number of points, but the Ukrainian team’s goal difference is better, and that could be worth a lot in the final. Let’s see which team can advance to the Europa League.

Dynamo Kiev will go further if

  • win at home
  • A tie with 2 or less goals will be awarded.

In the latter case, the two teams would have the same score and balance with each other, then the goal difference would decide, and this, as we wrote above, is better for Dynamo Kiev.

Ferencváros will go ahead if

  • win in Kiev
  • A tie with 3-3 or more goals is born.

The latest result is relatively rare, although Fradi has recently produced such a draw, and it was also: the match ended 3-3 as a guest of Molde, which meant that the Hungarian champion entered the group stage at that time, as it was made a goalless draw in the Hungarian rematch. A similar 3-3 result would hit the Europa League this time.

ROUND 6 (TUESDAY, DECEMBER 8)
21.00: Dynamo Kiev-Ferencváros
21.00: Barcelona-Juventus

Nine teams are in the eighth final

Nine teams have already secured their places in the consecutive relegation round of the Football Champions League, with thirteen teams competing in the sixth and final round of the group round for an additional seven spots to be released for the eighth final.

It was decided before the close of next week.

In addition to defending champion Bayern Munich, the English trio from Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea

while Porto and Seville close in the second group. Three other teams, Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona and Juventus from the Ferencváros group will surely make it, no matter where they end up.

In Group A, Atlético de Madrid (6 points) and Salzburg (4) still have a chance to advance – the Spaniards will visit the Austrians in a week – while in Group B, at the extreme, the four bands, Borussia Mönchengladbach ( 8)), Sahtar Donetsk (7), Real Madrid (7) and Internazionale (5).

In Group D, Atalanta (8) and Ajax (7) compete and will meet in the Netherlands next Wednesday. The situation is similar in Group F, where Lazio (9) host Club Brugge (7). There is an exciting fight in Group H, where Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig are equally nine points ahead of the group round.
