Index – Economy – Zippered, dehumidifying welding shield helps wear a mask

While in the spring everyone started making the textile mask themselves out of the stripped bedding of the children, by the end of the summer, an entire industry had been built to make the masks more comfortable, beautiful and practical.

On the one hand, colorful and patterned masks appeared, beautiful and fun. Simplifying what had been printed on a t-shirt until now, it has now been put on masks as well. In Hungary, virtually every party shop web store has included smiling masks decorated with Darth Vader and Hannibal Lecter, with national color, coat of arms and mustache versions. In addition to the pieces that appeal to the dozens of jokes, the high-quality designer specimens also appeared: there are Kalocsa patterns, Csontváry paintings, op-art motifs, but also spectacular pieces appear on the table. We searched for Coolest Hungarian, but we couldn’t find it, probably the inscription was written individually.

It seems that most of the companies dealing with textile processing have allowed masks on one of their production lines safely, which is safe. The cheapest pieces are available for up to 500 guilders (one color, nothing extra), but versions with the company logo can be ordered for a small surcharge.

The fun patterned versions are available for 1500-2000 guilders, while the artistic ones can cost up to 3000 guilders.

The market covered also innovative to eliminate the problems of mask use. Usually that pain is the fogging of the glasses, the licking of the mask and the lack of a smile, the facial expressions. The easiest way to get anti-fog is to get an air-permeable rubber that should be placed under the mask up to the nose, with the air coming out laterally through the holes in the rubber. And the problem of wetting the mask can be solved with a tire: the plastic insert simply keeps the tissue away from the mouth.

In addition to the little accessories, quite wild solutions have also appeared. Such is the zipper welding shield. A large Plexiglas mask that can be attached to the head has long been available, an improved version of which is a shield that can be attached to the nose frame and hung behind the ear. Even if that wasn’t enough, a hood mask already exists – the shoulder-shaped hood that can be attached to the shoulders can be easily closed with a Plexiglas shield, so the head is perfectly wrapped.

And already belongs to the category of arrogance the fact that there is a huge bag in the shape of a mask, which is probably useless.

But at least it fits the little plastic skill of the mask holder, because when you go to the restaurant somewhere you just have to put on the mask that was temporarily removed.
