More economic protection measures are needed: Finance Minister Mihály Varga spoke about this at the annual general meeting of the Joint Venture Association. The government will help restart with more economic protection measures in the coming weeks, the finance minister said.
According to Mihály Varga, the decline of the Hungarian economy is less than the EU average. During the second wave of the epidemic, the main task of economic policy is to preserve the viability of the Hungarian economy, protect jobs and support companies. The government aims to strengthen national companies from the crisis. Therefore, it intends to encourage investment in Hungary by continuing tax incentives, increasing support frameworks, introducing loan programs and employment preservation measures.
