Index – Economy – Here is the CSO data series, the average gross income in Hungary even increased

In June, the average gross income in Hungary was 422,000 HUF. This is 15.6 percent higher than the previous year.

After an increase of 8 to 9 percent in recent months, the data is very surprising.

however, a significant part of the pending increase is related to a one-time extraordinary allocation of HUF 500,000 allocated to health workers.

It is also important to note that the data from the Central Statistical Office (CSO) only covers full-time employees, while in the epidemiological situation many people have had their working hours reduced and in many cases workers have faced severe layoffs.

The CSO calculates that. that the average gross income of full-time employees was 421,700 HUF, excluding public employees 434,000 HUF. Average net earnings amounted to 280,500 HUF without discounts and 290,200 HUF, including discounts, you can read in the prospectus. That is, it seems that there has not been another wage explosion in the country, only the single reward for those who work in a sector (health) has lowered the average.
