Tax incentives

In the sectors most affected by the crisis (hospitality, event management, performing arts, sports), there will be no pay for employees until November

  • the social contribution tax,
  • contribution to vocational training,
  • the rehabilitation contribution,
  • tax on personal payments of small tax companies.

The condition for claiming benefits is that the payer complies with his obligation to pay wages under an employment contract already in force when the regulation enters into force and does not yield to his employee.

Refunds

In the case of accommodations (hotels, campsites) registered with the National Tourist Information Center, the state reimburses 80 percent of the net income calculated after registered reservations for a period of 30 days before November 8, 2020 The condition here is also to maintain employment.

The amount of the aid may not exceed 3 million HUF. However, transitional aid can be cumulated with other state aid for different eligible costs.

Wage subsidy

In crisis sectors Fifty percent of the gross wages and salaries of employees in November will be returned to the employers if they file their claim with the government office of the capital city or county in which they are based. This allowance can be accumulated with compensation from other local, public or EU sources, provided that the total amount does not exceed 100% of the wage costs of the affected workers.

The occupations in question are:

  • restaurant, mobile catering,
  • catering for events,
  • beverage service,
  • Film screening,
  • organization of congresses, trade fairs,
  • sports and leisure training,
  • performing Arts,
  • operation of art installations,
  • museum activities,
  • operation of a plant, zoo, nature conservation area,
  • operation of a sports facility,
  • sport activities,
  • running an amusement park, amusement park,
  • physical wellness service,
  • other recreational and entertainment activities.
