Disaster management experts intervened ten times from morning to early afternoon. In nine locations, downed or dangerously downed trees were an obstacle to traffic, or their detached branches made traffic difficult, and in one case, professional firefighters from Gyöngyös removed fallen trees.

In Mátraszentimre, Mátraszentlászló, Mátraszentistván and Bagolyirtás, the power supply has been interrupted since dawn, affecting more than 500 households. Electricity supplier staff are working to restore service.

Levente Lázár, a press officer for the Heves County Police Headquarters, told MTI that the access road from Mátraháza to Kékestető had been closed in the morning due to snowfall. However, the police lifted the restriction in the early afternoon after the roadblocks were removed. Due to the unexpected winter weather, no accidents were reported in the affected area.

According to local information, 14 centimeters of snow fell at the highest point in the country.
